Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas (SCHICK)
A free program offering Kansans the opportunity to talk with trained community volunteers and get answers to questions about Medicare and other insurance needs. We have SCHICK counselors in our offices.
Pressure Gauge Testing
It is highly recommended to have your canner checked annually to ensure you are preserving food safely. We will test your gauges and contact you with any adjustments which might need to be made.
Water Testing
SDK water test kits are available through the Phillips-Rooks Extension District offices. Water quality testing fees is through SDK Laboratories. For more information SDK Laboratories.
Living Well Wednesday
A virtual learning series hosted by K-State Research and Extension, Family and Consumer Sciences professionals from across the state of Kansas. Kansas Radon Program
You can test for radon at anytime on your home. You may pick up a radon test kit at the Phillips-Rooks Extension District Office or order directly from the Kansas Radon Program at https://sosradon.org/purchase-kits.
